Employment
KCHA provides rental housing and rental assistance to more than 25,000 low- and moderate-income households. Combined with its supportive services and community programs, we reach more than 55,000 people each year.
KCHA is committed to implementing equitable and inclusive practices. The agency aims to consider – and understand – the cultural competence of prospective and existing staff to effectively serve King County's racially and ethnically diverse communities.
KCHA strives to be an employer of choice that offers salary and benefits that allow all employees the ability to live and work throughout King County. KCHA is proud to note its average salary is far above the established living wage for the area.
Employees at KCHA work fulfilling, rewarding jobs. Together they maintain a key safety net for people in need and allow thousands of families to work toward self-sufficiency. In the process, they help build strong communities and preserve the county's affordable housing. KCHA cannot achieve its mission without the skill and care of its staff.
