Federal funding and policy

KCHA is not a federal agency, but we receive federal funding through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Learn about the impact of federal funding and policy on KCHA.

Moving to Work (MTW) plans and reports

MTW is a HUD designation that gives KCHA local flexibility through waivers from certain HUD regulations. This flexibility allows us to shape our federally funded programs to better respond to local conditions, streamline operations, and support residents and tenants in their goals of economic self-sufficiency.
