        Description
        The King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials and necessary equipment to perform fire alarm system replacements as listed in the bid documents.
      
    
        Scope of Work
        Yardley Arms located in the City of Burien, was built in 1970’s is a three-story apartment building with an occupancy open to seniors and disabled persons aged 62+. The building has 67 dwelling units. There are 67 one (1) bedroom one (1) bathroom units that all contain visual notification similar to accessible type units. The current fire alarm system main control panel is Silent Knight, located off the first floor west of center in the Main Electrical Room right next to the laundry room.
The Fire Alarm System for this project shall be a Potter Electric Brand System. KCHA standard will not allow any substitutions for this specified Fire Alarm equipment. Read the accompanying documents, including the Yardley Arms Fire Alarm Replacement Assessment Report, One-line Diagram Drawings, Floor Plan Drawings, and Specifications.
