Description
The King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials and necessary equipment to perform paving improvements and all other work as listed in the bid documents.
Scope of Work
Juanita Court apartments consist of eleven (11) residential buildings and one (1) management office. This complex is located within a sensitive stream area (Juanita Creek) and it is imperative that all construction activities are performed to avoid contaminates from entering the creek. The Juanita Court Site Improvement project is comprised of (but not limited to) the following work items:
Root removal and grinding, removal and replacement of selected walkways, curbs, speed bumps, asphalt repairs, grind and overlay, striping, and all other work per the scope of work, specifications and drawings. Wheel stops to be salvaged and re-installed per plan. Bidders for this project to provide KCHA with an all-inclusive bid that will include all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, TESC measures, sequencing and a contingency that will take into account continuous access for residents to enter and exit the site and their units at all times. The contractor will take all precautions to provide a safe, orderly construction site for the residents, staff and workers.
